do this... 1. go to your netflix account 2. watch the first 8 minutes of Faster. 3. that's all, just the first 8 minutes. 4. remind yourself what grand prix motorcycle racing used to look only 10 years ago. 5. understand that the 3 major rule changes in engine architecture (heavy complicated and expensive four strokes) and size (990, 800, 1000) and the move to a single tire supplier in the last 10 years have ruined the racing 6. remind yourself that this is RACING, NOT R&D... if some rich company wants to do motorcycle R&D on track, that's ok, but first and foremost this is RACING and it doesn't matter if some company can use it for R&D (or more likely marketing) purposes.
