@talentfan, noted. You do realize that the bikes the factories have eventually do trickle down to the sat bikes though, right? In yams case, rossi likes crutchlows edition/version better so I'd say the sat bike is fairly close in specification although I'm sure the edge belongs to the factory still. My main point is that the satellite bikes will never win because of the rider. The kobe Bryant's and Lebron James of motogp if you will (Lorenzo Pedro, Marquez) went straight to the pros from high school (the factories) everyone else is just a player in the game not expected to do much. The best riders are on the factory bikes because they are the most talented.
