Marquez is an exceptional rider who learns very quickly and on the best equipment is getting incredible results in his first motogp season. Although Espargaro was Marquez's rival in the moto2 championship last year, there's no sign that he is any more talented than Bradl, who actually beat Marquez the year before. Bradl is a very good rider, but not at the level of Marquez, Marquez has the best technical support, but they're both on factory bikes and if they swapped, I doubt there would be any difference in results, plus Bradl has an extra year's experience. While Pol's season is likely to improve, he's not distinguishing himself from his moto2 rivals. If he doesn't win the championship or even finish second, it will look very bad if the champion is overlooked for a place in motogp and/or Pol takes the Tech 3 ride from Crutchlow. Cal is doing about as well as could be expected without factory support and would make a good team mate for Lorenzo. I think he deserves the shot for a year.
