A lot of money has been spent by some manufacturers and teams building and developing CRT bikes for them to be made obsolete by leased factory engines and production prototypes !!!
Honda were ADAMANT they didn't want Aprilia or others coming to MotoGP via the back door using a modified WSBK without having endured and developed a full factory prototype for years spending millions. So you can see their point and could be them joining forces to squeeze Aprilia and its many ARTs back out the door. fact the Aprilia is winning in WSBK helps that thinking also.
Cheap CRT's for sale as track bikes come 2014 ?
CRT should always have been leased factory prototype engines in your own chassis just like the KR's
