So you think the current/proposed format for Motogp is simple? On one grid you now have:
Factory prototypes with their own ECU, pneumatic valves, limited fuel, limited choice of spec tyres, limited engine allocation.
Then you have CRT, street bike based engines, custom chassis, different engine allocation, different fuel limit, different tyre choice, different ECU option.
Now we'll have Honda 'semi-prototypes', prototype engine but no pneumatic valves and a combination of different fuel, engine, ECU and tyre restrictions.
Add to that the M1 prototype engine bikes in custom chassis with yet another combination of engine allocation, tyre allocation, fuel limi, ECU etc.
Yep, dead simple......
I know you never like to miss an oppertunity to have a pop at WSB but at least they are all sitting on the grid on bikes operating to the same set of rules/specifications.
