PP916 my argumentative friend, they are trying to address the problems caused by themselves allowing the manufacturers to make the rules during the good times. Some problems that have been in the series since MV Agusta unleashed their works bikes, and never changed, the only thing thats changed is internet forums were invented.
The WSB were on the brink of disappearing, just like interpublic before FGS gave 93% of it away to Infront in an attempt to salvage something except it was losing more money, when Bridgepoint got involved they started to look deeper paid Infront Paid Flamini his 7% and said goodbye.
The series problems started in 2001 when they declared war on Dorna, inviviting prototypes into the series and scrapping the 19K rule before it got off the ground, even Ipolita begged him to change his stance. They realised there was a problem in WSS 2 years ago and acted but refused apart from 1 bike (with in the back) in WSB.
