Question, why is it that in Moto 2 they all HAVE to run a Honda sealed engine making it all fair and equal apart from the chassis. This has made for great close racing with all on a level playing field. Here in the premier class only the chose few get the top sec kit.
Why are so few in Moto 2 on the "top spec" frame?
Same answer as always. Money.
The field in Moto 2 is not level. Having the same engine does not equalize the feild. Having money to pay the best techs, the best mechanics, the best riders etc. creates the gap. The racing in Moto 2 is great because most of the riders are also closer to each other in terms of talent. There is a reason it is a support race.
Do you really want the premier class of Motorcycle racing to be completely spec?
