There are some very obvious sub-plots to all of this. Bautista is not the first Latin hot-head to park his brain before he goes racing but even he must recognise that he will be dumped by Gresini for next season and his future looks CRT at best. Equally though he is probably responding to the other thread by Rossi criticising him. Rossi's agenda is clear in trying to draw attention to Bautista to camoflage the fact that it was another lukewarm performance by Rossi well under what should be expected with a factory Yamaha. The one thing Rossi has always been the GOAT in is playing the media, having the attention focused on him when it suits, and distracting it somewhere else when it doesn't.
