The problem with having more parity is to decide which way to do it. Make the slow bikes faster? - well, all teams are trying to do that. Fact is that the factory teams have a much bigger budget and will always be ahead of the game. That leaves the option of slowing down the factory bikes and thats not likely to be very popular with anyone - teams, riders or fans. Remember, MotoGP is now entertainment and crowds are up, tv audiences up and factories are returning. Dorna is making money so there is little reason for change from their view.. In the last couple of years only 5 riders have won races but that hasn't dented the popularity so I'm afraid there's not a lot of prospect for change.
