........ But you don't suddenly see Honda or Yamaha being 30 + secs slower over a race distance on tracks that don't suit either bikes respectively. And does anyone know why that is ??? Because both bikes are fundamentally good motorbikes that's why. When Ducati won the title in 07, they won it because 3 main factors masked the fact that they had a fundamentally inferior chassis( which at Ducati has always been the case). Having Stoner as a rider, being on Bridgestone tires which was a vastly superior race tyre at many tracks that year comapred to Honda and Yamaha being on Michelins, and vastly superior straightline speed compared to any other bike that season.............
