Ducati has a good motor, it isn't managed well, but none the less a good strong motor. That being said, if a team could lay their hands on one and figure out how to get the center of gravity right and a proper length swing arm in a custom frame, with the extra fuel they may just have a somewhat competitive bike. And lets not forget that the CRTs have a softer tire available which could help with their problem of traction when the tires wear. 12 engines would allow them to make modifications big time, which the factory teams can't do. But a Yamaha would be easier to get the geometry correct and with the extra fuel,tire.........
