@ V4Poweeeer "Maybe a change in rules is that the bikes should not be able to be set up for individual corners at all and only have one setting and get around the track with that setting" I've said the same thing. Its not just about saving costs... its about the fact that the bike can then only be set-up by the team as the 'best compromise' for the whole lap, and the WHOLE RACE. This one change means that it puts the rider back into the game - to make moves where his bike is strongest, and defend where it is vulnerable. Also to manage the bike, tyres and performance throughout the changes in grip and fuel load etc. to the flag. Right now the bike optimises for every inch of track every lap - so the rider has less input on the outcome, and overtaking is super-hard as the bike in front is practically perfect everywhere. Unlimited (virtually) electronics are damaging racing!!!!
