They will be only waving their check book on the engine at the beginning of the season, developement s frozen from that point, the main reason why Suzuki are delaying, a factory who like Aprilia and Kawasaki, Dorna don't give a damn. Of course Dorna are looking after the manufacturers who stuck at it, as they are the teams who decided to invest when the chances of winning are impossible. As from the end of last year no team that uses factory equipment gets a subsidy from Dorna they get the start money, TV and travel fund, but thats it. Think back a year Nakamoto said there is no way Honda would race with a spec ECU and would go to WSB where there on no limits on electronics, they even use the crash hated GPS system. That backfired and Dorna moved to the middle ground but got a good deal for privateers. The system is better now than ever before apart from 2002 to 2006, manufaturers have always had their stamp on the championship, the last privateer to win a race to my knowledge - Cont.
