IMO Marquez has adapted himself to the big bikes faster than Lorenzo. Very difficult to say with Stoner as he was on a third rate Honda with whatever tires Mich had leftover. Stoner did not jump onto the factory RCV his first go. It took several years for Lorenzo to calm down and play the thinking mans game. Lorenzo (IMO) is now where Rossi was in 2003. Marquez also has the open data policy in HRC. He sees what Dani has and what Stoner did. Lorenzo had no such luck his Rookie year (different tires). Then there was of course the infamous "let's see him do it on his own".
