No problem JJ. look, you got combative and got replies from me that were a bit hard. I do get it - like most fans you want to be able to feel that the racer you respect is responsible for his own actions and successes. Me too. Unfortunately the truth is its just is not like that - ALL the factory blokes have massive advantages over the rest of the field, and the satellite guys have a big advantage over the CRT field. Marquez isn't the problem - it is Dorna and the way the series has been allowed to get into this position. You don't need to be an insider or anything JJ. Anyone can see how predictable races are, and how the riders input into set-up and race pace are being marginalised by data and technology. The technology and control over it means that the ultmate performance of the bike is NOT under the control of the rider any more - no matter HOW good he is.
