I think Yamaha want Cal to stay, but there is no factory bike available. However, since the silly season began and Cal hinted at a Ducati contract, which may already be signed, his so-called satellite bike seems on par with the factory rides. I suspect he is on factory equipment and if so, this might dissuade him from looking elsewhere.
