I think some of you are overlooking a very important fact. Ducati is now owned by Audi. Audi has a very rich racing history, going back some eighty years (Auto Union). The acquisition of Ducati means a lot more than an investment to Audi. Obviously, Audi sees some potential in Ducati. Given that Audi race and win with their cars, I have no doubt they will do the same with Ducati. Crutchlow may have made a very good decision. Time will tell.
