yup, and get rid of the damned sensors (wheel speed, suspension, etc...) All the class needs is a regulated standardized plug in to monitor the ignition, fuel pressure, injector timing, etc,
you don't need standard ecus that are controlled by one manufacturer, you just need solid and accountable practices to mitigate the opportunities for rider aids. Along side open inspections from competing teams/regulatory personnel.
And then ban teams if traction control is detected for a race or two. Real simple math, make it cost prohibitive to run traction control, BUT FOR GOD SAKE DO NOT GIVE ONE MANUFACTURER THE OPPORTUNITY TO dictate the technical aspects to all teams, as that has DONE NOTHING BUT MANIPULATE RACING. Force the guys in GPs to run OEM-consumer ECUs. Standardize the wiring harnesses, etc...
