@R6Ryder "He bettered stoners race times often." When? I don't recall him ever doing it...except if you compare a dry race to a wet one. Stoner was consistently more than half a second a lap faster than Hayden on the Ducati. Rossi was able to match Hayden's lap times only after Hayden gave him his set up data, and he never got appreciably ahead of Hayden, he was simply more consistent. Even Rossi has acknowledged that he couldn't do it, and doesn't know how Stoner did what he did. I think you're dreaming...
