@TalentFan, I'm surprised at your post. JL did not have to do it on his own, "the wall" went up only after Rossi went to Bridgestone tires and Michelin and BS didn't want to give away secrets. Before that they were sharing info, maybe begrudgingly, but sharing . You usually are better informed. So that being said JL didn't get off to the start MM has, albeit MM does have the most sophisticated race motorcycle ever built, that has taken over for the skill that riders used to have to learn to keep from getting pitched off. He has shown a rare talent when put up against the equal motorcycle of DP. The real secret...he is enjoying himself. Makes a huge difference.
