Yeah this'll be tough for sure, Dovi has had a full season on the Ducati so that'll be an advantage. When they were last teammates, Cal had a year on the machine whereas Dovi had more years of experience in MotoGP, so hard to say who had the advantage beforehand. Dovi clearly beat him though, but I feel since then Cal has upped his game a lot this year. Even with Dovi's Ducati experience I expect them to be pretty close... They'll need to be, and he'll need to beat Dovi proper at least in year two of his contract if he is to be considered potential WC material.
