"The only things stopping anyone from constructing a MotoGP bike and going racing is money and will. Posted by BJR. Agreed. But we must accept that Mfr's will ALWAYS want advantages and DEMAND them - it is the nature of the beast. Dorna are alienating a lot of potential teams and sponsors by pandering to HRC/Yam and allowing the Mfr's to influence the Tech rules so they are now a disincentive and a barrier to new teams. So there's little will, and not enough money for there to be more competitive teams. Which HAS to mean that the GAME has to be changed to redress this, which has to mean tech rules that GENUINELY lower costs and remove the ability of factory teams to utilise the masses of data and programming. Its always easy to say we need MORE, and that its up to others to provide it for our entertainment. Responsibility by others, just give me what I want. Sorry but it doesn't work like that - new big-budget teams aren't going to sacrifice themselves on the Altar of MotoGP
