Most of the events I have been to have not been at the race.
I should be at Brno now as a paying fan with my family and then we were going straight to Silverstone as a paying fan as I usually do, work commitments meant cancelling Brno but will still get to Silverstone Wednesday night and enjoy the 4 day camping as usual whether it rains or not.
My attendance at corperate events has no bearing on the matter of the point.
In my days of riding RD250F and a friend who started on X7 then became Brit F1 and Supercup champion, he had no worries about crashing his father had a very successful betting and minibus business, but was very talented as well. It happens in all forms of racng.
If you dont like dont watch, no one is forcing you.
