Using JL as a yardstick on a bike that is as dialed in as it can be for him, he is no match for the Hondas. Rossi on the other hand has yet to get the bike dialed in for his style of riding and even if he did, the Hondas are at the next level. Honda takes racing more seriously than any other manufacturer on this planet. And their innovation shows it. Their power makes the rest look silly, their gearbox is nothing short of fantastic allowing shifting while cornering without upsetting the bike AND hard acceleration. On top of that a chassis that allows different types of riders to be able to dial in the bike to suit them with little effort. Not to mention the millions spent on the Electronics that allow them to take advantage of the fuel limits, launch control, and traction control. Everyone needs to step up.
