Seems a shot-term strategy to me Shamarone - and that is what also concerns me. Why? Cos it means that those raking it in by wrecking the series don't give a damn about the future of MotoGP, just so long as they get enough money NOW.
They'll not care if MotoGP is in ruins, just so long as they have enough moolah to sit out the rest of their days on an exotic beach drinking mai-tai's or whatever.
In business they call it 'asset-stripping'- run a going concern into the floor to screw maximum return with no long-term strategy needed or wanted, and to hell with the fallout to anyone else. No morals required.
