@ paisan You'll have noticed that I'm a suspicious sod who has NO faith at all in 'fair-play' in MotoGP. But.... I think Vale is probably in THE best position and Team to get full support. Why? 1. Vale as a media personality as well as a racer has the fans support and therefore Dorna's support - it makes no sense to want to hamstring him - quite the opposite if anything. 2. Factory Yamaha don't have a Title Sponsor who might wish to influence support for a preferred rider. 3. Yamaha need every Constructors WC point they can get - Honda are hammering them right now, so you can't see them willingly giving any away. It makes no sense to hold Rossi back. Some may not like it, but I think the fact is that JL really IS that good, and he's beating VR fair n square in the team.
