Hayden could do a lot worse than sign a 3 year deal with Suzuki and spend a year developing a strong bike and ride with them for 14 and 15 then continue till he goes out to pasture.
Ducati could do a lot worse than get a trellis back on the bike and privately develop the carbon idea till it works well. The Ally frame is a dead duck (no pun intended).
As for tyres, you could keep a single manufacturer rule but force them to make three compounds available on three carcasses at each event, surely not beyond the budget and remit of the mighty bridgestone?
However an open tyre war would do the series a lot of good if you ask me.
