Codger I don't think less rounds in Spain would make any difference, Spain produces great riders because bikes and scooters are a big part of the culture and they get assistance. We (UK) have more riders in WSB but we don't win it, for which no one moans about, we also have 2 rounds. I too witnessed the 8 round era, the more the merrier wherever the are and if its a go kart track like Valencia then so what, GP is all about testing the bike on any type of track.
Logistics is not a problem apart from making sure you have enough gear to do the rounds, Dorna have the crates collected from the last round or central point, transported to the airport where they charter 3 jumbo jets, Javier Alonso has done many interviews on this.
