As long as he keeps a positive momentum and can finish in the top 10 a few times I think he will have done alright, hit or miss whether or not he will gel with the bike.
WSBK is better than trolling around in Moto2 on a midpack or worse team in Moto2, actually anything is better than that, too many bikes, only a few have a shot.
AND YES, hes has a better record in 1 year at a satellite Ducati team than Rossi's tenure at the factory. You can knock him all you want, but in 2006 he let Rossi by him and came back for the win, guy's got the goods, he just been bounced around with any real solid support.
