There is a jot more to racing than stats.
Stats don't lie true, but conditions can change the true outcome example Eugene had two DNFs due to bike failure.
Johnny Rea lost good points because he didn't cross the finish line even when he crossed the finish line in forth place and the race was declared finished, points that could possibly drop him a place in the final placings.
Over the years I can think of dozens of similar stats although true do not give the whole true story.
