How can this be anything but a racing incident?
Riders touch all the time. I've seen worse contact deemed as racing incidents.
The fact that the touch caused a cable to break is the only thing that makes it seem more than what it is - but the sensor breaking is something Marc can not be held accountable for.
In the end, Honda will lobby for it all to go away anyway. Dani's chances for the championship are close to gone (they will not award him points no matter how this inquiry goes anyway) and Marquez is the one they will have to "protect".
