Race results - French MotoGP.

Race results from the French Grand Prix at Le Mans, round four of the 2009 MotoGP World Championship.

The race began in the wet but finished in the dry, prompting a switch to dry weather bikes during the race. Valentino Rossi was among the first to pit, but fell when he rejoined on slick tyres and also received a ride through penalty.

Sete Gibernau was ruled out of the French Grand Prix after fracturing his left collarbone during a Saturday morning free practice highside.

@ vale46goat Mate, I'm a Rossi fan but you are an embarrassment. You remind me of a small child who screams "unfair" at everything. Rossi's ability to race in all conditions is beyond doubt, but he got it wrong today, simple - HE MADE AN ERROR IN JUDGEMENT. Do you think he is sitting in the garage crying, stamping his feet and shouting "UNFAIR, UNFAIR, UNFAIR" Get a grip you plum.
