part deux You say "sharing and not copying".The fact is that Rider A allows rider B to see riders A data (telemetry, setup, engine maps etc).This is access and therefore copying.Rider B can then compare and make their own conclusions. If you want further "sharing" of going through all the data explaining what what tried,what was discarded and why etc... would mean long meetings with teammate and techs - Which is better spent with the factory technicians,therefore the factory deciding the direction. Honda during the early 80s basically built two bikes in 2 different directions to suit each.It proved to be a failure. Since then,one bike by one man.
