Saturday practice times - Misano MotoGP.

Full Saturday free practice times from the San Marino Grand Prix at Misano, round 13 of the 2009 MotoGP World Championship.

Third in the championship Casey Stoner has withdrawn until Estoril on October 4 to try and return to full fitness.

Stoner's place at Ducati Marlboro has been taken by Mika Kallio, whose Pramac ride has been handed to Aleix Espargaro.

Repsol Honda's Andrea Dovizioso is using Ohlins suspension for the first time this weekend, team-mate Dani Pedrosa remains on Showa.

Espargaro is VERY impressive!! Just the second day on the "POS" Ducati and is already 10th and only 7 hundreth of second from the great Hayden. Now that is REAL progression. At this rate, he will be within striking distance of Hayden after the next race. BTW anybody that thinks Hayden just went hard because of contract time or at home is dead wrong.Hayden always goes to his max - but being careful never to fall off.
