Qualifying times Phillip Island MotoGP.

Full qualifying times from the Australian Grand Prix at Phillip Island, round 15 of the 2009 MotoGP World Championship.

Dani Pedrosa suffered a fast fall at turn two halfway through the session, but returned to take the final place on the front row from Jorge Lorenzo.

Niccolo Canepa, who injured his arm in Friday practice, will not take part in the remainder of the weekend and is also expected to miss next weekend's Malaysian Grand Prix.

Sorry, but another parade tomorrow. Pedrosa jumps out to the lead, Stoner catches him on 2nd lap, Dani pulls over to let Stoner thru, Rossi catches Dani a lap or two later, Dani pulls over again. Rossi can't catch Stoner, settles for 2nd. JLo can't get it together, can't pressure Dani, finishes 4th. Stoner wins by 4 seconds, Rossi 2nd by 8 seconds, Dami takes 3rd, 3 seconds ahead of Lorenzo. The battle for 9th thru 12th will be exciting though, as Vermullen, Toseland, Melandri and Hayden fight it out.
