Loris Capirossi missed the event due to finger ligament damage sustained in his clash with Nicky Hayden at Misano.

Hayden took third from Lorenzo on the last lap. Dovizioso crashed earlier on the last lap while fighting to take fifth from Spies...

Great race, finally some battles for us to enjoy. Remarkable Hayden’s move on Lorenzo (running out of fresh engines?) at the last lap. Spies too hot for Dovi!!! Hats off to Stoner, the guy can tame the wild ducati like nobody else can.

Like him or hate him that was a hell of a ride from Stoner after all the front end problems he's had this year and well done Hayden, what a pass.
