Bender, I think you may find CS did not have much of a chance to develop a bike at Ducati. He rode what was given to him, made suggestions and set it up the best he could. It has been mentioned numerous times that he finished every year with virtually the same bike he started with (other than fork swapping last year). That is one of the main reasons why he wanted to go to Honda, as they have the budget to continue developing/updating throughout the season. Ducati have finally done the same this year now that they have Rossi/increased budget to do it.
