Australian Damian Cudlin is making his second MotoGP appearance in as many events, this time standing in for Hector Barbera at Aspar Ducati, while Loris Capirossi is returning to action for Pramac Ducati.

Ducati must be seriously ruing the huge wads of cash they threw at Rossi to join them. Qualifying 13th at Phillip Island, 2 secs off pole, and 1.2 secs behind his team mate who qualifies 6th is inexcusable. There's no coming back from this. I wouldn't be surprised if Ducati and Rossi part ways end of this season. He's taking the piss now.
