World champion Casey Stoner beat the best 800cc test time (and smashed the official lap record) on only his second lap, during cooler conditions this morning.

As reported, a thunderstorm shortly after 5pm effectively ended the test, but these are the official end of day lap times.

All twelve manufacturer riders were present for the three-day test, plus the Forward Racing and BQR 'Claiming Rule Teams'.

The also test marked the first time that the new version of the Ducati GP12 has been seen in public.

The next official test will be held back at Sepang from February 28-March 1.
