Tuesday 5pm MotoGP test times - Sepang II

MotoGP lap times as of 5pm on Tuesday, during the first day of the second official Sepang test.
Testing began at 10am and concludes at 6pm. A heavy rain storm soaked the circuit between 2-3pm, and the track has been drying ever since.

As of 5pm bright sunshine has returned and most of the circuit is now dry, but there are still some damp patches and only Ducati test rider Franco Battaini is on track (with slick tyres).

The improving conditions could prompt other riders out in the final hour, but fastest man Casey Stoner has already finished for the day.

All twelve manufacturer riders are again present for the three-day test, plus the Forward Racing and BQR 'Claiming Rule Teams'.

Factory Ducati rider Nicky Hayden and Tech 3 Yamaha's Andrea Dovizioso will be hoping their healing injuries will allow for greater track time than at the first test.

However Karel Abraham (Cardion AB) is struggling with a back injury sustained at the recent private Jerez test and will miss day one.

The second Sepang test finishes on Thursday evening, after which only one more official test (at Jerez) will remain before the start of the racing season.

@Go Rossi, no1 Mate you stole the words out of my head. I think this test basically concludes all we need to know for the rest of the season. Rossi will be the champion. The stats speak for themselves guys, he's lapping 2 seconds a lap faster. I can't believe the GOAT is back on top, prepare your selves for the incredible overtaking manoevers disposing his real GOAT status and God like development skills. Colin Edwards and others on CRT's watch out, the doctor is coming. Long live the king who will beat all CRT's in 2012......oh......wait, I forget about the guys on Prototypes!! Hahahaha
