8 of 12 completed laps by Stoner were under 1.38 and averaged 1.37.59. 6 of 12 laps completed by Pedrosa were under 1.38 and averaged 1.37.61. Usually, even if Stoner is not No 1, his number of fast laps and their average laptime is far superior to any other in the field. Looks like Pedrosa will be the main challenger in the race with Lorenzo trying keep up and not finishing far behind. Lorenzo completed 15 laps and 5 were under 1.38. No other rider went under 1.38.

pedrosa changed bikes and still tops.....what went wrong with the bike ??? another red light ? and spies couldnt keep his spot...i thought he may fall a couple of spots down but even behind rossi ???? BTW checked the analysis and rossi losing half a second in T2 compared to the top runners.....should be a good race ohh...poor barbera didnt get a tow this time.....
