Monday 4pm - Catalunya MotoGP test times

MotoGP lap times as of 4pm during Monday's post-race test at Catalunya.
Following Sunday's Catalan Grand Prix, a MotoGP test session is taking place at the same circuit on Monday.

Testing began on a damp track at around 10am, followed by a lunch break from 1-2pm. Track action is due to conclude at 6pm.

Karel Abraham fell on his out lap, while Cal Crutchlow suffered a big accident on his second lap, forcing the session to be briefly red-flagged.

BSB star and former MotoGP rider Shane Byrne is sharing James Ellison's PBM ART bike.

A further test day will be held at Aragon on Wednesday...

these times play very less importace unless all of them take a new set at the end of the day and show how much work they did.... a new soft pair of tires can improve your lap time by around 7-8tenths....so a person can work all day and not have the best laptime while a person just trying to get a fast lap on new tires can do no work at all and still go fast.... its the post test interviews that count....

Looks like no magic bullet for Ducati. Still over 1s from the top. Even the satellite bikes are .5s faster. If they can't be faster than the satellite bikes by mid-year, they can kiss Rossi goodbye. He deservers a better bike. Imagine him on Spies's Yamaha, we could've have another great battle yesterday.
