Casey Stoner fell at the penultimate turn while battling team-mate Dani Pedrosa.

Ducati test rider Franco Battaini was replacing the injured Karel Abraham. Alvaro Bautista started from the back of the grid after being penalised for his Assen collision with Jorge Lorenzo.

Stoner was just pushing too hard to keep up with Pedrosa and binned it. Just couldn't settle for second place could he. Jorge should remind him that Bautista stills owes him a favour. Nice to see Rossi in sixth, hopefully Ducati can make some improvements.
