1pm MotoGP test times - Brno

MotoGP lap times as of 1pm, during Monday's post-race test session at Brno.
Following Sunday's Czech Republic MotoGP, a post-race test session is being held at the Brno circuit on Monday.

The Factory Honda and Yamaha teams are both present, along with some satellite and CRT competitors, but the Factory Ducati team has chosen to test in private at Misano on Tuesday and Wednesday instead.

World Superbike star Jonathan Rea is testing for Repsol Honda with a view to replacing the injured Casey Stoner at Misano and Aragon, while Jorge Lorenzo will try an early version of the 2013 M1.

Colin Edwards is set to ride the Aprilia ART of Mattia Pasini and Mike di Meglio the BQR of Ivan Silva, while former MotoGP rider Loris Capirossi is due to ride various machines.

However since timing transponders identify bikes, rather than riders, official timing will list the name of each machine's usual rider (with the exception of Rea)...

Ha ha ha ha, practically all the comments here just prove that the modern MGP follower on here has absolutely no clue about the finer points of motorcycle racing. Only one person has mentioned just how much of the day will be spent just getting him to sit comfortably on the damn thing. That would normally be done in the workshop/garage well beforehand and then just tweaked at the track but this guy was racing a Fireblade in Russia yesterday and will have arrived at the track here goodness knows when so they haven't even had the chance to spend a few hours briefing him or adjusting stuff. Talk about in at the deep end. Given that, I think his times so far are pretty good but again most of the fools on here will have no concept just hard you'd have to ride to be even with 5 or 6 seconds of the pace.
