Wednesday - Aragon MotoGP test times

MotoGP lap times after the second and final day of a private test session at Aragon, Spain.
A private two-day MotoGP test session was held at Motorland Aragon on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The Factory Honda and Yamaha teams were both present, plus the satellite Honda LCR team. Ducati has chosen to test in private at Mugello.

World Superbike star Jonathan Rea was making his second appearance for Repsol Honda, with a view to replacing the injured Casey Stoner at the forthcoming Misano and Aragon races.

Rea improved his best lap time by 0.622s on Wednesday.

Dani Pedrosa set the overall fastest lap on day of the test, with title leader Jorge Lorenzo leading day two.

Round 13 of the 2012 world championship will be held at Misano on September 14-16.

* Yamaha state that Lorenzo's best Wednesday lap was a 1m 48.351s. However Honda, the Aragon circuit and a picture of the timing screen on the Yamaha MotoGP Twitter feed seems to confirm Lorenzo set a 1m 48.244s.

reas raw pace is good,a lot to get his head around,and understand,hes only had about 3 to 4 hours on the bike,and hes a lot faster with his race face on,its mostly about the tyres for rea,and refinement and alas hes not going to get the time to sort that out,hes already faster than bautista and barbera,who tested a couple of months ago here.just close your eyes and think lorenzo? open and shut them again and think rea,thats roughly the gap between them,hes shaping up ok. maybe in practice at misano he will learn a lot faster,
