Full Saturday free practice times from the San Marino MotoGP at Misano, round 13 of 18.
Another cold and damp session.

Wet tyres were used for most of the session - Alvaro Bautista, Valentino Rossi, Danilo Petrucci and Michele Pirro fitting slicks at the very end.

Only 13 riders had recorded a lap time on Friday, due to the conditions.

Injured reigning MotoGP champion Casey Stoner is being replaced by World Superbike star Jonathan Rea, who is making his grand prix debut this weekend.

Nicky Hayden and Hector Barbera are returning from injury, while David Salom has replaced Ivan Silva for the rest of the season at Avintia.

The Ioda team is switching to a BMW-Suter machine from this weekend.

What a nightmare for Rea, exactly the sort of conditions that require a massive degree of familiarity and confidence with a bike and he's dumped out there on something that he's ridden for a couple of days.

On top of that, the knockers are just sitting poised at their little keyboards waiting for him to hit the deck so the mud-slinging can begin irrespective of the justification for it.

Tell you what, he's getting a test of character if not out and out riding ability!

Maybe rea is off pace because he need to take it easy. Yesterday someone told on crash he didn't go out there because of the mileage of the engine. so maybe he's taking it slow because he's riding with stoners bike and can't take to much engine life off it.(also told by the same poster).

if so i think its suits rea for not taking alot of engine life from it and thinking about stoner.

but if he's a real racer like some people say he should ride the hell out of that bike, and ride the way he does in wsbk.
