MOTOGP » Aragon MotoGP - Race Results

Race results from the Aragon MotoGP, round 14 of 18.
Nicky Hayden suffered a nasty accident when he ran off track, couldn't stop and slammed into a tyre barrier - launching the American over the top and onto the road on the other side.

Hayden, who suffered a concussion and fractured hand at Indianapolis, was taken to the Medical Centre for checks where he has been declared 'ok'.

Stefan Bradl fell from third place early in the race.

Valetino Rossi ran straight-on after brushing the side of Jonathan Rea under braking on the opening lap.

Rea was again replacing injured reigning MotoGP champion Casey Stoner.

The gap between riders seems to grow bigger. I know that Lorenzo didn't put a fight once he understood that Pedrosa was faster so that gap may be exagerated but the 3rd place at 11 seconds is quite a lot and clearly shows that, even considering the differences between factory and non-factory, the present guys like Dovi, Bradl or Crutchlow will never reach closer to the level of the so-called aliens (now a club reduced to 2 memebers)... which is a pity.

The only hope - and right now it is just a hypothesis nothing else - is that Marc Marquez may reach what some believe he is capable of, but still has to prove...
