Race results from the Japanese MotoGP at Motegi, round 15 of 18.
Reigning MotoGP champion Casey Stoner was returning to action after missing three rounds due to ankle injuries.

Yamaha test rider Katsuyuki Nakasuga was granted a wild-card entry for his home round, while Roberto Rolfo is replacing Mattia Pasini at Speed Master for the rest of the year.

I feel so sorry for Crutchlow, that must be horrible feeling. Bautista, that is how you repay the teams faith in you. Hoping Stoner returns to the front for Phillip Island
