MOTOGP » Malaysian MotoGP, Sepang - Saturday practice

Full Saturday free practice times from the Malaysian MotoGP at Sepang, round 16 of 18.
Dry session.

Yonny Hernandez, who dislocated his collarbone last Sunday in Japan, did not ride this morning due to the pain and will miss the remainder of the Malaysian weekend.

Ducati riders Valentino Rossi and Nicky Hayden both fell at turn one - Rossi at the start and Hayden at the end. Rossi had to pull the marshals back as they attempted to push his bike away.

Hmmm Rossi 2 seconds slower than Dani and only 1 second quicker than the fastest CRT. This doesn't look good the race tomorrow. Admittedly, it's only practice and they are working on different setups but he shouldn't be that far off the pace.

I can't work out whether Stoner will be out front fighting with Dani and George or fighting with Dovi, Cal, Alvaro, et al for the bottom step of the podium.
