Casey Stoner claims his sixth successive home win while Jorge Lorenzo is crowned world champion after Dani Pedrosa crashed out of the lead on lap 2.

Yamaha's Ben Spies is absent for the remainder of the season after undergoing surgery to repair shoulder injuries at the Malaysian Grand Prix.

Local rider Kris McLaren, drafted into the Avintia Blusens squad in place of the injured Yonny Hernandez, did not start the race after missing the 107% time in practice and qualifying.

Congrats to Jorge! make sure you beat Dani at Valencia with your burden off.

Amazing race from the GOAT killer! when Stoner is motivated no one come close.

Honestly it's a bit boring race...
